Our goal is to operate according to slow travel and ecotourism practices and to achieve sustainable development goals. Transparency is important to us, and we would lie if we would say it is not a challenge to achieve our goals, in an environment where resources are limited and costs are ever rising. We are far away from being perfect, but we are committed and we are trying. Let’s shine a light on a few of the things we do get closer to achieving our goals. Do you have any tips for us? We would love to hear them from you!

Experiences & Activities
The more you know about your destination, the easier you'll adjust and blend into everyday life. It is important to be aware of local cultures, religions and traditions. This allows you to travel respectfully and it will more likely get you closer to the local community.
Why are you travelling? Know what is important to you and take the time to immerse in your own experience. Don't get distracted by what you should see, but see what you want to see.
Explore your surroundings by simply wandering around and observe your environment. It's a great way to discover a new place mindfully and learn about the daily lives of the people you meet.
In the low seasons there are less tourists around which gives you more opportunities and space in a more natural and genuine environment.
Slow travel is about quality not quantity. If you loved a destination, return to it so you can immerse even more.
Get involved in local activities or visit local events and you'll connect easily with the local community and create unique and personal travel experiences.
Slow travel means supporting the local communities that make travel worthwhile. Travel is about experiencing different cultures, and those can only survive if we put our money where our values are.
It is good to know where your priorities are but also leave space for flexibility and go with the flow. It might take you to places you've never thought about.
Taking the time to observe and describe what you see makes you truly present. Writing is a great way to record your travels and it's such a pleasure to read back years later.
Don't distract yourself from the present moment.
