Accommodation at the best kite spot of paje
Home > Kite & Stay
The wind starts to fill the kites at Paje around half past ten. By eleven, the lagoon is alive — twenty, sometimes fifty kites moving across a kilometre of flat, knee-deep water. The kite school is a 90-second walk from our gate. Book your room with us and the 10% Kite & Stay discount on lessons and rentals is automatic.
Lessons and rentals seven days a week
The school is on the same beach, run by the same founders since 2007 — Melanie and Dim. Current-year Duotone gear, IKO-certified instructors teaching in English, Dutch, French, Italian and more. Lessons run from absolute beginner to advanced freestyle and wing foiling, seven days a week.
Stay in our Ocean View Lofts (the kite-guest favourite), our Garden Suites for better value, or The Villa in Dongwe for groups.
This 10% discount will only be given when you book in advance through our online booking form.
Kite Centre Zanzibar has been on this beach since 2007 — Paje’s first and longest-running kite school. Ten IKO-certified instructors, current-year Duotone kites and boards refreshed every season, lessons capped at 1-to-2 (one instructor per two students) so you get real water time. Beginners typically need 6–10 hours over 3–5 days to ride upwind. Book Kite & Stay to combine accommodation with the 10% lesson discount.
